WeedShare has a great explanation of the Weedification process here. If you're a Christian music rightsholder (artist or label) interested in distributing your songs using the Weed system, e-mail us (preferably with a link to samples of your material). If we feel your music is marketable, we'll reply with the paperwork you'll need to fill out and fax back to us at (707) 549-4436 (to verify rightsholder information and grant use of promotional material). The quickest way to get your songs into the Weed system (for tech savvy rightsholders only) will be for you to convert your tracks to .wma files (160 - 192 kbps is recommended) and ftp them to us (using a temporary account we'll set up for you). Otherwise, you can snail mail a CD containing the songs you'd like Weedified (will not be returned) to: ChristianWeed.com Once your songs are Weedified, you should download them from Christianweed.com and post them on your band website (don't have one yet? see below), onto P2P networks, place them on promo CD's to give away, etc. Your songs will be made available for download on ChristianWeed.com. After allowing ample time to download, the Weed files may eventually be removed to conserve storage space and replaced with a link to your promotional website. Note that Shared Media Licensing handles all rightsholder/artist payments via the PayPal system.
